Start with your library

Give Flick access to Photos, then choose your whole library, the last 30 days, screenshots, or videos. By default, swipe right to keep an item and left to add it to your deletion queue. You can change those directions in Settings.

Review before deleting

Adding an item to the queue does not delete it. Open the queue, remove anything you want to keep, then confirm deletion. Apple Photos handles the change and shows its system confirmation when required.

Your daily free allowance

Free includes 50 distinct photo or video reviews per day. Keeping an item and queuing it for deletion both count. The allowance resets at local midnight and stays the same across cleanup categories and app relaunches. Undoing or revisiting an item already counted that day does not use an extra review.

After you reach the limit, you can still review and finish your existing deletion queue. Return the next day for more free reviews, or unlock unlimited reviews with Flick Pro.

Flick Pro and restoring a purchase

Pro is a one-time lifetime unlock, with no subscription renewal. To restore it, use the Apple Account that made the purchase, open Flick Pro from Home or Settings, and select Restore Purchases. Apple's payment approval must finish before Pro becomes active.

Missing photos or videos?

If you allowed access to selected photos, only those items are visible to Flick. Use Manage Photos Access in Flick's Settings, or update Photos permissions in your device's Settings. Items stored in iCloud Photos may need a connection to download before viewing.

Recovering an item

Open Recently Deleted in Apple Photos and use its recovery controls while the item is still available. Resetting Flick's cleanup history does not restore deleted photos. If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletions can sync to your other devices.

Understanding storage estimates

Flick's storage values are estimates. iCloud Photos, cached media, and Recently Deleted can affect when space becomes available on your device.
