Your library is yours
Privacy.
Your photos are personal. Here is how Flick handles your information.
What this policy covers
This policy explains how Flick handles information in its iOS photo-cleaning app, this website, and support requests.
Photos stay in your library
Flick requests Photos permission to display photos and videos, estimate storage, and delete items you confirm. You can allow selected items or your full library and change access in device Settings.
Flick does not upload your photos or videos to servers operated by Flick. Apple Photos may retrieve items from iCloud Photos using Apple's services.
Information on your device
Flick stores preferences, cleanup history, and your daily review allowance locally. Cleanup history includes dates, counts, and estimated storage amounts. The allowance includes the review date and identifiers of items reviewed that day so repeated reviews do not count twice. Flick does not make separate copies of your library for this history.
You can reset cleanup history in Settings. That does not restore deleted media or reset your daily allowance. Removing the app removes its local app data according to iOS behavior; photos in Apple Photos are managed separately.
Purchases
Apple handles Pro purchases through the App Store. Flick uses StoreKit to check verified purchase information and determine whether the lifetime unlock is active, restored, pending, or revoked. Flick does not receive your payment card details and does not send purchase information to a Flick-operated server.
Apple's services are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
No advertising or tracking SDKs
Flick does not require an account, include advertising or analytics SDKs, or track you across other companies' apps and websites. Your library content and cleanup history are not sent to Flick.
Deleting photos and videos
When you confirm a deletion, Flick requests the change through Apple Photos. Deleted items move to Recently Deleted, subject to Apple's recovery and deletion rules. iCloud Photos may sync the change across your devices.
This website
The Flick website has no advertising, analytics scripts, account system, or contact form. The interactive walkthrough runs in your browser and does not access photos or store your choices.
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. It may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Contacting support
If you email support, your email address and the information you choose to send are used to respond and investigate the issue. Email is handled by the support inbox provider. Please do not send private media, payment details, or passwords. You can ask for support correspondence to be deleted by contacting the same address.
Changes to this policy
This page will be updated if Flick's information practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
